Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness

 It's the last days of both Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Month. How unfortunate, that many lives are lost due to one or the other and at times, both. Do you know any one who has and possible is being effected by it? Both Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence affects women more than men.

Earlier this month, one of our family-friend asked us to help create and donate care kits to women and children who have escaped from the dangers of Domestic Violence. That is so sweet of her to organize family, friends, and others to help put together Domestic Survivor Care Kits for those who are effected by that dangerous cycle. Even though, I am grateful to help any way possible, it disgust me that the rise of violence towards women, has increased since the pandemic! 

Earlier this during the pandemic, one of my friends and her children were in a dangerous domestic violence situation. I was afraid that her husband was going to kill them! Fortunately, that did not happen and they were able to escape safely, with some help.

Later on during this month, one of my friends asked me and others to create a care package for women who are fighting against their diagnostic of Breast Cancer. I never made one for patients who are affected by this illness. I am glad that my friend made a list, with the organization she has been volunteering with. The disease Cancer freaking sucks, since it is the persons own body, going over drive to create new cells, but they forget it is time to stop for that moment. 

On a brighter note during this month, my Voltra avatar (avi) won second place for Brunch à la Carte Competition. I created her with a scenic background that was possibly inspired by either the country Japan or Korea. My avatar is having a snack of peaches and more in the area. She is pretty interesting.
