How Was Your Weekend? 02252023
It has been very wet and storming throughout Northern and zombie Southern California. It has not rained like this in zombie Southern Cali since the late 90's/00's when I was a little girl. Two weeks ago when we had our other rain storm, we had some leakage with damages to our place. I do not remember our rain being this cold, and I am freezing! You can also see, lots of snow on most of our mountains. It is a beautiful view that juxtaposes the city outline with snowing mountains in the background, if you get a chance to visit during our rare rainy season. In the area where I live, we have received many Flash Flood Warnings! It did flood and hail a little bit where me and my family live. Also, there has been many trees falling, which is still impacting certain dangerous situation for many neighborhoods and power outrages. Our area was impacted by falling trees, however we were fortunate that there were other routes for us to use when we needed to weather the storm. Despite this wet storm having some fun with us Californians, we TRULY NEEDED THE RAIN to help with our droughts and decrease us having longer Fire Season. I am not familiar in how to deal with flooding, but there a few government websites to help with flooding if you live in Cali.
Trying to find a home for Birdie, during the weekend. It is such a funny name for this beautiful cat. A family friend found this cutie abandoned in front of her place. After several weeks, when we have finally found a home for Birdie, she was united with her family. According to our family friend, there were two little girls who are the owner of Birdie were so happy to see her, since she was lost/stolen, since December. We want to Thank You everyone who shared my flyer and were willing to adopt Birdie! She is back where she belongs.
