Sighs with Love (Mothers Day)

 

Yesterday was Mother's Day, surprisingly I had a good one with the mothers in my life. However, this is the 3rd time in a row that my Mother's Day gifts has not arrive on time! I ordered these gifts that were not flowers related a week in advance. I traditionally, get gifts a few days before the actually celebration, however this time I did not. I am so thankful for one of my friends that were able to get flowers at the last second for us to give to our mothers, grandmothers, and aunts. I am so grateful to that person.

So, I saw both my mother and grandmother (Grand Scorpio) yesterday evening. I am so grateful that they were both in a good mood. I, I have a complicated relationship with my mother, which I feel is slightly getting better. She truely enjoyed the flowers, especially since she has been having a hard time being a frontline worker in the Medical Field during this dystopian pandemic. The Grand Scorpio was doing ok and she was happy to see certain family members come by to visit her and we converse for a very longtime. She loved the flowers, while expressing how much she loves. I also, gave flowers to one of my aunts and another family member. I almost forgot to text other family members and friends who are mothers, so I texted them last night with a cute old animated gif I made many years ago. Hopefully, my original Mother's Day gift will arrive soon. How was your Mother's Day?
