Black Books (Makeda Queen of Sheba)
Hi everyone, it is Black History Month in America when many companies and certain people start pandering to people of the African Diaspora in Crazy America. Or their family and friends remember to support who are part of the Diaspora. I really wish that in American we teach everyone's' history in great details that has contribute to this fun country and would not gloss over and/or omit our stories.
I remembered when I was commissioned by Ms. Sanyika to help create both the jacket and book covering for her book Makeda Queen of Sheba. She also needed me to do some digital color correcting for many of the original artwork that was done by Mr. Roederick. It was very special to see the book in local stores and a few book signing events. This was my first major graphic design project.
