Reaching Love Ones: HELP

 

Sunday Night and yesterday, we have been trying to contact family in NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) that have been affected by Hurricane Ida. I was trying to call family in NOLA while I was doom scrolling on Twitter keeping up with it, until I fell asleep. I can not believe, it is the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. 

Were you able to reach your family?

Some time late yesterday (Monday) afternoon, one of my cousins reached out to let us know that they are doing ok, but they do not have any power. Yes, we are so fortunate that we were able to reach our family and know that they are alright for the moment. Unfortunate there are many more people who are unable to reach their families in many parts of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi.

Keep calling them or ask people if they can check up on your family?

Hopefully, you will able to reach them.
